“My goal as a physician is to help my patients improve their health and their lives.”
Dr. George has been helping people live pain free since opening his clinic in Lakeville in 2001. His practice is based on the philosophy that the body has the innate ability to heal itself. His mission is to restore normal physiology and anatomical alignment, allowing the body to heal itself back to its balanced state.
He provides a wide range of therapies including manual and mechanical adjustment, Dry Needling/Functional Needling, electrical muscle stimulation, exercise instructions, lifestyle modifications and nutritional counseling. The combination of treatments used by Dr. George provides a conservative means of treating problems. Today many Americans are seeking alternative methods of caring for their health and are finding that it is often successful.
Dr. George is a 2000 graduate of Palmer College, where he received his doctorate in Chiropractic after earlier earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Science. As a senior he was selected to go on a three-week humanitarian trip to India with 30 of his classmates, where they treated over 25,000 people ranging in age from infants to seniors. During his internship at Palmer Clinic he offered care at the Palmer Outreach Clinics in Davenport, Iowa to families, hospice patients and staff, and managed the majority of TMJ disorders for the entire clinic. He has continued his TMJ education through multiple seminars and hands-on practice.
While building his practice, he served as a covering doctor for other chiropractic clinics. During the first three years he worked in Boston in some of the largest personal injury practices, seeing nearly 100 injured people per day and learning the proper care of mild to severe automotive injuries. He also had the opportunity to cover for Dr. Mike Miller, the chiropractor to the New England Patriots, providing everything from family care to correcting sports injuries.
Dr. George is well known for his care with difficult cases as well as for promoting wellness care for people who realize true health is more than the absence of symptoms. He has been with Acushnet Company since 2005 and initiated the chiropractic program there as it is today, drawing on his expertise in correcting Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and other cumulative trauma syndromes. He focused years of continuing education on extremity adjusting (arm, knee, wrist, etc.) and completed advanced training in adrenal gland function, balancing blood sugar, balancing female and male hormones, and treating pre- and post-menopause naturally. He is committed to promoting health and living a life drug free.
Our staff has been helping people live pain free since this clinic opened in Lakeville, Massachusetts — experienced and committed to promoting health and wellness.

Book by phoneOur examination procedures are geared toward detection and correction of the “Vertebral Subluxation,” and are specifically selected for your spine and nervous system health.
Includes palpation — checking your spine by hand for areas that may be involved with subluxation. Spinal position, curvatures and muscle tone are examined too.
Readings of spinal heat differences from level to level and side to side show how subluxation may be affecting the autonomic nervous system. Surface scans measure electrical impulses along your spine and the effect on your muscles. Together they give us a baseline to accurately measure your progress — far more reliable than “how you feel” on any given day.
Most patients receive three spinal x-rays at the start of care. They show the position of the spinal bones, the quality of the spine, the safety of adjusting it, and how long subluxations may have been present. We do not take x-rays for pregnancy, most children, recent usable x-rays and some other situations.
Scheduled within a few days of your first visit — your most important visit, and it may take up to one hour. We give you a care plan and any special instructions for the best and fastest possible results. These visits are set aside so as not to interfere with regular patient care hours.
Our care uses the most modern chiropractic analytical and adjustive procedures and equipment available. We feel you’re worth it!

A subluxation is when one or more bones of your spine move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate, spinal nerves — interfering with the signals your nervous system sends to the rest of the body.
A properly functioning nervous system, free from interference, is essential for development and growth — from pregnancy through newborns, infants and children.
Optimum performance depends on the proper function of the nervous system. Chiropractic helps professional and amateur athletes perform at their best.
Getting on in years doesn’t have to mean a loss in quality of life. Clear signals between brain and body are essential to enjoying our later years.
Chiropractors do not claim to treat infectious disease — chiropractic lets your body function free of nerve interference and closer to its full potential.

Digestive problems are far more common than many people realize — tens of millions of Americans experience abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea and other complaints.

A study released April 23, 2026 by Research Square looked at how chiropractic care may help with the pain, stiffness and reduced mobility that follow cancer treatment.

Published August 12, 2025 in the open access journal Cureus, a case study documented chiropractic care helping a pediatric patient suffering from abdominal migraines.

Many adults live with chronic back pain, stiffness or spasms without discovering the real cause — one possible contributor is a spinal finding known as fish vertebrae.
